A group role-play adventure in an arcane university

An online D&D campaign set in the world of Magnus Arcanum

Begin as a student at the Asterium, a vast mountain university of magic, research and Guild training. Attend classes, explore its sprawling glass-and-marble campus, build friendships and rivalries, join specialist Guilds and take your first steps into a much larger world.

But the Asterium sits on centuries of buried secrets. Strange relics, forgotten ruins and unexplained magical phenomena begin to pull you beyond ordinary student life and towards the mysterious Magnus Arcanum, where the world’s most dangerous discoveries are investigated.

Expect a character-driven campaign mixing university life, exploration, mystery, magic, Guild missions, relationships and JRPG-style adventure.

Join the campaign and begin your studies at the Magisterium.

Asterium Portal

A student’s guide to living, studying and adventuring at the Asterium.

Whether you are arriving for your first term or preparing for your next Guild placement, the Asterium Portal brings together everything you need to find your way around campus. Explore the university’s quarters, courses, residences, facilities, Guilds, transport links and the many places students make their own.

You’ll also find practical guidance for fieldwork, expeditions and life beyond the lecture halls, because at the Asterium, education rarely ends at the classroom door.
